Jon C. Ellison, D.D.S.
I graduated from the University of The Pacific School of Dentistry. I have had a practice in Simi Valley my entire career. I am a member of many dental organizations including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Santa Barbara-Ventura County Dental Society. I have also completed thousands of hours of postgraduate training in all areas of dentistry. When I am not working, my wife, Lisa, and I enjoy traveling and playing golf. I also really enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren whenever I get the chance.
Carol- Office Manager
Hi. I'm Carol. I'm the Administrative Services Manager. I have been working with Dr. Ellison for over 30 years. I can help you with any questions regarding your dental treatment. My goal is to make sure that our patients are getting the best dental experience possible-from scheduling to financial arrangements. My favorite part of my job is the longterm relationships with our patients. I am married and I have two daughters and two grandsons. I enjoy spending time with family, gardening and taking my Golden Retriever, Bella, to the park.
Cindy- Clinical Services Manager
Hello. I'm Cindy. I'm a Registered Dental Assistant. I graduated from Valley College in 1982 and have had the privilege of working in the dental field for more than 30 years. It's very rewarding to come to work and see so many of our patients that have been coming to Dr. Ellison's office for years.

Hi, my name is D. I studied Dental Assisting at Career Care Institute. I’ve been in dentistry for a few years now and I love it. I love making patients feel comfortable. When I’m not at the office I like to spend my time hiking or with my loved ones and animals. I love dental history as well. Hi, my name is Yvonne. I studied dental assisting at Everest College. It has been an absolute joy working as a Dental Assistant for a couple of years now. I love to connect with patients on a personal level and make them feel more comfortable and at ease. I have been working for Dr. Ellison for a short time, but I have already learned so much from him and I look forward to learning even more. In my spare time I enjoy going to country concerts, watching sports, and hanging out with family and friends. I have recently found a new passion of running in 5k races and look forward to many more races to come.
Dolores- Insurance Coordinator
Hi. I'm Dolores. I have been with Dr. Ellison since 1985. My office title is Insurance Coordinator, but I actually do whatever needs to be done to make the office run smoothly. The best part of my job is our patients. They make working such a pleasure. In my spare time I love to travel, sew and spend time with my grandchildren.
Karen- Registered Dental Hygienist
Hi. I'm Karen Michinock BS,RDH. I am an alumni of West Virginia University School of Dentistry in Dental Hygiene. My greatest joy as a hygienist is passing my preventive dental care knowledge onto my patients. I have been involved in Ventura County Dental Hygienists' Association throughout the past 25 years as Community Health Chair and volunteer at the Simi Valley Free Clinic Dental Program. Family time is most important for me and I also enjoy hiking, crafts and quilting.
Tracey- Registered Dental Hygienist
Hi. I'm Tracey. I am a graduate of the Dental Hygiene Program at Pasadena City College and have worked in the dental field for over 27 years. I have always felt that dental hygiene is where my talents are best utilized. My passion is working with children; they light up my day! When I am not working, I love to travel with my family.
